As the year-end approaches, I get a bit reflective. I consider the past, present and future of BA-Squared. I appreciate the growth, I ponder lessons learned, and I am excited about the future.
When BA-Squared was founded in 2008, I didn’t really know what the future would bring. Seven years later, my part-time experiment has become a more-than-full-time business, with an ever-expanding web of strong partnerships, great clients, and a very bright 2015! We’ve accomplished a lot in 7 years! Here are a few highlights:
- With more than 100 hours of customizable, innovative curriculum, we have inspired a new generation of project managers and business analysts to think strategically about their work and to collaborate to bring out innovation and creativity in themselves and others.
- Our consulting services help organizations maximize the value of requirements practices, motivate and inspire requirements professionals, and establish practices and techniques that deliver great requirements and value to projects.
- Our growing presence at industry events and conferences allows us to deliver new techniques to audiences around the globe.
As BA-Squared moves forward, we will continue to shape the industry by:
- Bringing new content that continues to push practitioners to modernize practices and lead collaboratively like our Virtual Collaboration course in partnership with BobTheBA aka: Bob Prentiss
- Offering more of our forward looking and interactive classes onsite at your organization, at the Univ. MN College of Continuing Ed, and at industry conferences & events
- Generating valuable content in a variety of formats (newsletters, blogs, papers, templates, and webinars) to keep tips and tricks at your fingertips
- Contributing to leading industry subject matter like the IIBA’s BABOK and PMI’s BA Practice Guide
- Writing informative, thought-provoking and motivational blogs on Business Analyst Times
- Speaking and teaching at industry leading conferences and events
